I usually use the UN Ocean Decade's website to explain to students how different stakeholders (states and non-state actors) collaborate to protect our Oceans, the life-support system keeping humans alive on Earth. I usually get students to identify the non-governmental institutions associated with this quest and how their work is integrated in policy goals.
